Dominique Yancey

Dominique Yancey was appointed to the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Board of Directors in 2017 and then elected in 2018. She is a Deputy District Attorney with the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Washington and Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law and has been a prosecutor for over 31 years. She served on the San Ramon Parks and Community Services Commission from 2004-2017 and was Chairperson in 2007 and 2012 and was named the 2018 San Ramon Citizen of the Year.

Dominique is a Board member and Past President of Leadership San Ramon Valley. She is also a Board Member and Past President of the One Hundred Club of Contra Costa County and was the Legal Coordinator for the 2018 East Bay Stand Down. She is a member of San Ramon Valley Rotary, San Ramon Valley Exchange Club, Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Posse and Dublin San Ramon Women’s Club. She was a member of the Parent Advisory Council for the University of Alabama from 2013-2017 and has been Chairperson of the American Heart Association’s Heart of Gold Ball as well as the California Symphony Ball.
