Dan Carrigg is the Deputy Executive Director/Legislative Director for the League of California Cities.  As one of our featured speakers for Community Economics Day, Dan will discuss the Impact of the State’s Policies, Legislation and Budget on Local Communities and Public Services.

He has over 27 years of experience in Sacramento politics.  This is his 20th year with the League.  For seven years he represented the League on housing and land use issues, and in recent years has focused on the Revenue and Taxation issue area.  In the past, he has served both as a Senior Consultant with the Assembly Committee on Housing and Community Development and as a Legislative Representative on state property and construction issues for the state Department of General Services.
