During this session, participants acquire an understanding of the new forms of communication and the impact to the business world, publishing and media; gain insight into the how the various types of new media inflluences public opinion and practice interview skills that can be critical when “The Media Comes a Calling.”
A panel discussion of “The Changing Face of Media” comprised of Police, Fire, School, Business Print and On-Line Media Representatives provides insight how these organizations combine traditional media with new media outlets. A role play scenerio brings all these tools into practical application for an afternoon of creativity, interviewing practice, and an appreciation for objective reporting. |
