Daniel Almeida

Our facilitator for the first class, Foundations of Leadership, is Daniel Almeida, Ph.D., who will take the class on a “deep dive” into understanding their strengths identified using the Clifton StrengthFinder assessment.  Dr. Almeida is an Assistant Professor at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, a Certified Diversity Trainer, and founder of Strengths Deep Dive, LLC – a strengths-based consulting practice committed to providing engaging and transformative experiences for individuals and teams that go beyond the surface, diving deep into the development of their natural talents. Dr. Almeida is an expert in facilitating activities and conversations with individuals and teams about leveraging their strengths and is also an expert on topics such as multicultural issues, team development and management, and career development. Dr. Almeida received his PhD in Education from the University of Southern California, MA in Higher Education Administration from Boston College, and AB in Psychology from Dartmouth College.
